Texas Free-Range Whitetail Deer Hunting Outfitter
As an Outfitter we offer trophy, management, and cull hunts for native West Texas Free-Range Whitetail Deer. All our outfitter hunting is provided in our 1,220-acre low-fence pasture. The land is rolling hills and valleys with rugged terrain and thick brush offering perfect habitat for whitetail deer hunting. Our low-fence, or sometimes called free-ranging whitetail deer hunting is far from a “canned” hunt and offer a degree of difficulty as the whitetail deer are highly unpredictable. Our Texas whitetail deer are skittish, smart, and will test your hunting abilities. All these things combined make for a challenging whitetail deer hunting experience and a great feeling of success when it all comes together.
Our whitetail deer hunting stands are Tank Blinds and carpeted on the inside for insulation and sound dampening. The windows are tinted to keep animals from seeing in and to help keep you hidden. Some are on the ground, and some are on raised platforms. The hunting blinds have built-in gun racks for your hunting convenience. Several of our whitetail hunting blinds are ADA accessible and are wheelchair friendly. The Free-Ranging whitetail hunting has the highest success rates while using a rifle and is our weapon of choice.
Our Texas Whitetail Deer Hunting Property
Our Texas Whitetail Deer Hunting Property is comprised of rolling hills with 175’ of elevation change throughout the property. The Texas Hunting Ranch is located between two ridges, one of which is located on the east portion of the ranch, with lots of elevation change providing rugged terrain and diverse vegetation creating thick and impenetrable brush providing whitetail deer ample space to hide and feel secure. The hunting property is rough and rugged with rocky outcrops and thick bottoms between the hills.
Vegetation consists of bunchgrasses, Mesquite thickets, Mesquite savannah, Chickasaw Plum thickets, hackberry, shin oak, and a few cedars. The lowland areas are covered in thick impenetrable brush offering habitat for wildlife in the dense undergrowth Our Texas Hillsides are thick brush providing perfect habitat for native whitetail deer and a variety of other species. The property is a great display of wild Texas untamed habitat. We also have planted winter wheat fields in the wintertime. In the spring we plant springtime mixes of forbs and grasses to be sure have a strong whitetail population for extremely high success rates.
On our 1,220 acres of low-fence property we make sure it is set up with ample shooting lanes for each hunting blind location offering plenty of shot opportunities. The ranch is a prime example of West Central Texas wilderness, ruggedness, and beauty that offers a wide array of hunting challenges to overcome. The sun rises over the entire hunting ranch lighting up the hills and valleys and makes for a picture-perfect whitetail hunting trip.

Texas Hunting Weather Conditions
The Texas Hunting Weather Conditions during the early season are mild, 40-degree mornings with 75–80 degrees in the afternoons. Late season can be brisk with mornings from 25-35 degrees and afternoons from 40-60 degrees. We recommend dressing in layers so it will be easier for you to maintain a comfortable body temperature.
Typical Free-Range Whitetail Deer Hunting Outfitter Schedule
- Free-Range Whitetail Deer Hunting will begin early with a cup of coffee. We will head to one of our whitetail hunting stand locations to begin your deer hunt.
- After the morning whitetail deer hunting, we will return to the hunting lodge where clients may choose to cook breakfast and relax or enjoy the day with some fishing, horseshoes, or some scouting.
- We will have a light lunch and head to the hunting blind early in the afternoon where we will whitetail deer hunt until dark.
- After we pick you up from the whitetail hunting stand and retrieve any downed game, we will return to camp and supper will be served.
